The terms are being mixed up here. They are talking about using a "Quick Detailer" spray product after waxing. Meguiar's, Mother's, Eagle One, etc etc all make one and are available either at your local auto/discount store or online. Many synthetic/sealants recommend using a quick detailer (and usually their brand...lol) after buffing, but you can do the same with carnauba waxes. Can use a quick detailing spray for daily use or after washing or inbetween waxings, remove fingerprints, and for removing bird and insect mess from your paint. Provides extra pop and some protection for your paint plus reduces static electricity and removes any hazing.
Some quick detailing products contain carnauba, so be careful if you are using a synthetic/sealant polish/wax. And some contain "harmful or bad silicones", which are not body shop safe (if you have an accident and they repaint a section, you may get "fisheyes"). Read the label, it is usually stated if the product contains carnauba wax and/or states if it is body shop safe. Then its just a matter of finding one you like, and there are many good ones out there to consider.
