re: wheel covers coming off
i had a ford mustang for a while. had factory full wheel covers (but not for long) when taking a couple of curves at a pretty good clip, the wheel covers ejected themselves as if they were held in place with explosive bolts. took more than a few hours to find them deep in the underbrush. no joy in mudville.
it was interesting to see how many fords were driving around with no front wheel covers on. guess the rims just flex enough while cornering
to spit the covers off. good luck.
