I don't see many PTs on the lots except plain Janes...I live in Canada...I look at Ebay and the deals in the States are unreal on many cars. I have imported 2 vehicles a 07 Toyota Tacoma and a 06 Pathfinder LE..I have since sold both. The deals I got were unreal. You can go to Registrar of Imported Vehicles RIV: How to import a U.S made vehicle into Canada to see how to do it. It is all listed there. I will probably if things stay the same buy future cars from the US......Even our Canadiann dealers are stocking their used lots with US vehicles. One salesman told me most of the cars on his used lot were from the US. Obviously they are making profits on them. Check carefully on warranty transfer. Some companies will honour the warranty others won't...like Mitsubishi. I foujnd this out after buying a Endeavor from a local guy that brought it up from Phoenix. Best to buy a North America vehicle to avoid duty. You will have to pay GST of 5% at the boarder. Make sure the vehicle is permitted into Canada. When you get it here you have to get provincial and federal inspections. It takes some work and time but you can save thousands.
