Default GTA get together
Hi guys,

I missed the last couple of get togethers due to my schedule. I would LOVE to get together with a couple of you for an informal meet/greet to discuss our cars. I would also like to compare our cars to see if others are experiencing the same noises and creeks...

I'm in Brampton but am willing to travel across the GTA. Anyone interested this Saturday or Sunday?

Hi Lip- I am in Bramladesh also- J section. We have hockey Sat morns (South Fletcher) and apple picking after that. Open Sunday.


ALSO- I talked to the Mayor (Susan Fenell) on Saturday, I am going to do a Make a Wish presentation (proceeds from the Cruise the Falls PT Event) at city hall, she wants to get PTs in the pic- let me know if you are interested in coming along.

If she wasn't up for re-election I would consider it for sure due to the good cause...I'm not a "Fenell Fan" so to speak...and I suspect this is just more publicity for her which she gets plenty of in that horrible "Brampton Guardian" advertisement...oops, I meant to say paper (definitely not newspaper!!!)...

Anyway, is it this Sunday?

Publicity?? Yup, but I will ask for a post Nov 10th meet.!! hee hee. It will not be this Sunday. (one of the 3 wishes that we are sponsoring will be a 3 year old boy from Brampton, a pure coincidence according to Make A Wish people).

Guardian- yes, ad central, bad writing, always good for the private seating time in the John. They did run one nice article last July though.

"Bramladesh" was a term used by our MPP-elect, Kuldip Khular during his campaign. Lighten up dude.

The Niagara region is known as WASPville...

I'm not a big fan of the term "Bramladesh"...the Sikh population is quite small in Brampton...it's only that they are all located in one area. However, the Portuguese community is also in one area, it's just that there skin is more white so nobody complains...

It's a touchy issue no doubt and I'm not condoning such terms, but I don't know if you can call it racist.
