Default Sad day for me

My Best friend lost his little brother yesterday afternoon in a car accident. He was the driver and speeding is suspected. I know that we all like to have a little fun out there now and then....even I am guilty. But when stuff like this happens...

Man I don't know what to think anymore. Everyone always says "I know what my car can do..." There are so many varibles on public streets...Things that you can't account for...

18 years old and gone. So much life to live. What a waste....

Sorry I didn't mean to bring everyone down so close to the holidays. Just needed to say it I guess.

Be careful out there.

Sorry to hear the sad news, prayers for the young man in the coma and condolences to Allen's family. Chin up.

very sorry to hear that. its not something easily dealt with no matter what time of year. live everyday like it's your last, because it just might be.

Thanks for the kind words all. I finally was able to speak with the family last night and I feel better today. It just amazes me because I did so many stupid things in my teens and nothing ever came of it. Yet one bad judgement call by an otherwise good kid causes all of this.

News for the passenger isn't good at this point. The doctors are fairly certain that he will recover but it looks like he will have some level of brain damage as a result.

scary stuff.

Take care all of you.
