Plan to buy one - please advise

Hello those who already have a PT.

I went into a dealership yesterday to check out this monster I heard so much about.

I loved it. My wife loved it.

I would like to ask fo advise as what to look for when buy a PT Cruiser.

Technical details, needed / unnecessary accessoirs, reliable / unreliable modules et cetera.

Dealerships with better reputation in Vancouver?

Best to get an extended warranty, since the transmissions aren't really that great. Make sure it's a Chrysler extended warranty and not just a 3rd party warranty that your dealer is selling.

Regarding the PT, if you like the extra power, go for the GT, which is a high output turbo.

Needed accessories, probably the cabin filtration system, which is just a filter that you can install. It costs about $15.


Any other options, it's up to your descretion. For example, you may have very cold winters, so you may opt for heated seats.
