I have for sale one right and one left powered, heated, folding mirrors both are new in box. I brought them for my 03 GT but found out that I dont have the power wire for the heating element and I dont have the time to run the wiring so I am selling. $100.00 Plus shipping.

coopj40,
More than likely, the heated mirror connector is further down in the door rather than behind the sail panel (small triangular piece that covers the internal wiring for the mirrors). You might want to remove the whole door panel to check for the connector if you still want to keep the mirrors. A few other 2003 PT owners found that connector intact but lower in the door. Scott

The connector is indeed there, behind the door panel, it's the same one for the mirror adjustment functions. We have a 2003, built 12/11/02, the connector is there but not the wiring back to the defrost control switch.

ElectricBlueGt,
Are you saying that-if(when) I install my Muth mirrors with the l.e.d.s the heating element should turn off with my defroster? H. |

Herschel,
Muth I believe only makes replacement mirrors with heating elements and LEDs for 2001 & 2002 PTs with heated & folding mirrors, not the base PT or 2003 and up. Those mirrors are non-folding and a different size. To answer your question, yes, your heated mirrors will turn on and off with your rear window defroster.
