Gang,
It has been a great two years with my GT Cruiser. It is a great car and I love it. Unfortunately, this is a business decision. The Cruiser is my business car, it takes me from performance to performance and with 22mpg and a premium fuel requirement I am getting a Prius instead. I seriously believe the gas prices are going up in 2006 and we will see $3/gallon or more as a standard price. I can't believe I just admitted I am getting a Prius.....that is not my style. Anyway, I want the car to go to someone who knows what they are getting into. It has a lot of mods to it including Stage 1 upgrade which will be hard to explain to a non-Cruiser fan. Anyway, heres the scoop on my car. 2004 GT Cruiser, Electric Blue, Stage 1 upgrade, Cold Air Intake, Autostick, ghost flames, Borla 2.5" dual exhaust, new plugs and wires. Oil changed every 3 to 5 thousand miles. 18" Boyd Smoothie Wheels (still have factory GT wheels with original tires and new snow tires). Rat Fink painted on rear left of trunk, along with Amazing Arthur logo on rear right (you probably will want to remove that, I'm not paying an advertising fee). The car is dropped about 2 inches. 58k miles on it. This car is all highway miles. It has taken me to Wyoming 5 times, Texas 3, all over the Midwest. It is XM equipped for a MyFi, also has the factory 6 disc changer. This car won 2nd place in its division at the 2005 World of Wheels in Omaha. Kelly Blue Book says it's a $14,400 car. I'll take a reasonable offer. That's without mods. I've spent more than I should have, but it's really cool, gets a lot of looks. The paint has a few small chips in the clear, normal for a mid-west winter driven car. There are no door dings and it has never been in an accident. I am really going to miss it. Call me if you are interested 402-597-2579 Here are a few photos. |

I can't beleive that you are gonna get a "POS" Toyota. You will be missing your PT everyday. BTW, I hear that is a lot of quality problems out of that little hybrid.

That's a great looking Cruiser Aurthur, and a lot of car for the money. The Kelly Blue book for my '03 GT shows over $15K for private party sale and over $17K for dealer sale. Mine's got 21K miles and that may make some difference. You've got some really nice mods that should be worth something extra to an enthusiast.
Good luck. I've heard on Autoline Detroit TV show that the Prius is a $40K car selling for $25K. Long term test reviews in the mags aren't super strong however. |

Nevermind, I am yanking it from the market. I just can't part with it yet. I love it.
That Toyota is ugly anyway.

I hope you checked into how much it is going to cost you to replace the batteries in the car a couple years from now vs how much the saving on gas is. I have heard something like 5k to change out the batteries.
$60 saved/month x 60 months= $3600 saved. You lose on actually saving money.
