NEW 2005 Dream Cruiser (DCS4) for only $8500!

Well, I didn't say it was in NEW condition! [B)]

This car had less than 100 miles on it when it was involved in an accident while being "test driven" at a dealership in California. A new member of my PT Cruiser Club drove it to our monthly meeting yesterday. He purchased the car for $8500 from an insurance company and drove it to Washington state. It is in "perfect" running condition and came complete with many custom body MODS!!! [:0]

I think he got a "good deal" as with somewhere between $5-10K he will have a fully-customized DCS4. What do you think? Would you have bought this car if it had been made available to you? Buy it, fix it, and sell it for a nice little profit...maybe!??? However, he plans to fix it and customize the car in the process with plans to keep it. [^] [8D]

Did he by any chance get that car from the Chrysler dealer in Brentwood, CA? The dealer where I bought my '05 vert had a dream cruiser damaged in a test drive. I saw it, but they did not have a red fender on it.

No, he got it in Northern California.

Yeah, there is a Brentwood in Northern CA too, in the Bay Area. That is the car I saw then.

Fantastic buy if he has the means to do alot of the work himself or has the right connections & plans to keep it long term. I would guess it has a salvage title of sorts.

It is my understanding that the car was from a dealership in Sacramento, CA.
