What is different between the 03-05, and the 06+? I am interested, but I've got a 2006 GT. I thought only the airbox size was different, and since this eliminates that all together, could someone explain why this would not fit? Obviously nothing but the airbox was moved...

Thanks,
Matt

I'm not a technician but as far as I can tell the air box is the same I think It will work on the 06 as well.

The airbox is different, the K&N drop-in filter is a different number, the airbox is a little smaller...

Thanks,

This filter kit uses the bottom section of the stock airbox like the Airaid, or BTG/Airforce units do, and as you stated the '06 airbox is smaller.

I like them, but compared to similar units it is still a little high, but then it is a "Mopar" part.

Thanks for the clerifications. I did not realize this one kept the bottom portion of the airbox. I guess I will pass on it since it wont fit! I plan to get the Suncoast Ram-Air hood, and airbox eventually anyways. So I should just "save my pennies"

Thanks,
Matt

Might be interested in it but need to know how much of an effect it will have on gas mileage and engine. Also, really need to know if it makes the car noisier. My Air Aid on my 2001 makes too much noise for my partner, and since the 2005 GT is his car, don't want to put anything on it that will cause too much noise. Dennis

Sorry, can't pull up the pictures of it that you posted so that I can compare to Chrysler's picture. Also, if it doesn't fit, can it be returned for a refund? Thanks. Dennis
