I bought this for my PT Cruiser, it allows direction connection of the ipod to OEM Radios: REC, RAK, RAQ, and REF
It does not work with the newest Ipods (3rd Gen Nano, iPod Touch, iPod Classic). Of course i didnt know that when i bought it and i have an ipod classic. It works with the iPod Video 5.5 gen and lower and with 2nd Gen Nanos or lower. It connects directly into the iPods Dock Connector and will charge the ipod when the car is on! I had it installed for a week or two but had to use an older ipod to use it which didnt have the same capacity as mine, so ultimately i just replaced the head unit. I have no need for this and i bought it for $215. I would like to sell it for $170 shipped OBO. Will also consider reasonable trades for PT Cruiser 06-07 parts. PM me |
