sakigt,

I'm in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex area.

I am surprised that this kit is a cover and not a replacement type. If it is a cover designed for the N/A cruiser, then it may well NOT fit the turbo, due to the extra "fatness" of the lower grill area. I'll be interested in your test fit. Let me know.

Thanks!

This weekend Im attacking my headlights anyway so Ill snap on the front and take some pics.
sakigt,

Have you had any success at fitting it? How did it go?

I saw the APC body kit this weekend on a cruiser at our car show and from what I can see, it will not fit a GT without major modifications. While the center opening is large enough regarding the area for air flow, it is too deep to fit over the GT lower facia without trimming. The fog light openings appear to be a problem as well since the overall width of the center openting intrudes into the fog light area compared to the non-turbo models.

The only real option I see would be to remove the original facia panel below the bumper and between the fog light openings and go without the lower grill. That might work, but I can't be sure without a closer comparison with it side by side with a turbo lower facia.

It fit around the bottom alright but the kit is, by its nature, a tight fit(wouldnt have it any other way). I was by myself so when my b/f comes over tomorrow Ill try and get that done.

Sorry...110lb weakling. [V][:I]

Not a questions of muscles, but of enough damn hands and longer arms sometimes, hehe.

Ok heres the deal. Dbrown wants the side skirts, If I can sell the front and the rear bumpers for $275 we can do this. If not, Im going to sell the whole kit to another guy. Maybe I can find a spare hour in the day to test fit it.... [V]

sakigt,

Unfortunately, I have to withdraw my offer to buy the bumpers. We just had a cutback at work. I took a 20% pay cut to help keep things going for now. Hopefully that will be enough and I can keep the job I have for a while. Otherwise, I'm in real trouble.

Sorry.
