Hey Everyone,
I am sad to see your ride go their Rek, but also understand the circumstances surrounding the sale. To whoever looks to but this set of drop set, and does not knows the history of them, here is a bit of background for you. This is the last set I made of four in total of my now famous "Candy Drop" Drop Springs. They were originally designed by Steve Butler who CAD designs and fabricates racing suspension for an off road racing teams Trophy Truck. This set of springs were made using some left over material that is actually used in the the racing suspension which brings some added cast to them but shaves weight as they are made of a proprietary titanium aluminum mix. If you were to buy this material, and then had access to the specialized machinery needed to coil these springs, these would be through the roof in cost. The idea behind these springs was, I wanted to completely level the ride height of my PT. The lowest kit still available is the Goldline Super Slammer Kit which will give you a 2.75" drop in front, and a 3.25" drop in back which in theory should level the car, but instead still left a roughly 2" rake in back which I did not like. So I contacted my buddy Steve who designed and fabricated a set of custom progressively wound coils that leveled my PT with a true 3" x 5" drop which set the body ride height at 4" at all four corners, and 3.50" under both the front, and rear bumpers. As this set sits on the PT, it is 0.75" lower in front, and a full 2" lower in back than the lowest kit available, and will set your PT at roughly 1/2" from where your ride would be sitting on air ride with the bags all the way out. After the initial set was made, I was approached by several people to try to manufacture more sets to offer to the general public, but after running the numbers I was unable to compete against the larger manufacturers on price point so I wound up just limiting production to four complete sets not including the initial prototypes I made for my PT. So these are number 4 of four sets currently in existence of which their are no more plans to offer any more at this time. Because all of the springs were manufactured by myself and Steve they were in raw form so it was left up to whoever bought each set to choose a color for powder coat to finish off the custom look. This set was powder coated in Chrysler Electric Blue Metallic which I personally mixed to try to nail the color as close to dead on as possible. So, this is a very, very nice set of custom made springs that are very capable of road, or track abuse with no problem, and If you want your PT to sit level on the ground without spending the $3000.00 and up for air ride, these are the springs for you. Whoever purchases these Springs will be getting a very nice set, and if anyone has any further questions on these, please feel free to ask me and I would be more than happy to try to answer anything as best I can. Go easy, and I will catch yall later. Candyman

Also, if you're carrying passengers in the back, you tend to hit your bump stops a lot. Especially if you're from the place that has the crappiest roads on earth....(Winston Salem, NC) Make sure you don't cut them too low like I did because it sounds like your rear end is going to fall out. haha! I cut mine too short and it was metal hitting metal. I had to replace them and once I cut them the correct length, I had no troubles out of them. I gave my bruZer a whole different attitude. People that didn't notice it, noticed it after I lowered it. Oh, something else of concern... YES, you can make it over speed bumps.
