I was killing time at lunch today (no clients to entertain)and cruised through the local DC dealer. I found a brand new unregistered DC1 still in stock. I thought maybe it was just a mint trade in that happened to be parked in with the new inventory so I went in to check.
2002 Dream Cruiser MSRP $31,140.00 CDN on sale for $24,853.00 CDN plus freight ($810.00) and taxes. Seems like a good deal if you were looking for one a year or more ago but pretty steep for a brand new 2 year old car. If anyone happens to be interested it's at Jim Thompson Chrysler in Kingston, ON. Talk to Jim McNeillie jtpc@kingston.net 613-389-4426 Steve |

I bought my DCS2 brand new in late March of 2003.The dealer had two of them sitting there and the first price they gave me was $17,200. I had no choice but to take it, it was such a good deal.
At the current rate, this comes out to about $18679.51, which is still a good deal, but I would offer them $17000 U.s. or less.

I agree with you for a DC2 but this is a DC1, NO TURBO!!! Personally I prefer the DC2 orange as well. I figure this can't be worth much more than $15,000 CDN (actually just checked black book $14,000 - $15,750 CDN based on 1000 km, the min it will accept).
