Default FOR SALE:VestaTech German Bumper Cover Pics

Well, I did a test-fit on Saturday. The thing seems really tight, like it must only be made to fit the NA PT. It's contacting the front of the Intercooler where that lower grille opening is (where the opening turns in), and also the core support or something underneath.
I'de like to use this piece, but it will need some trimming to get it to fit correctly.

You think I should fool with it, or just get rid of it?

Oh, and the small oval openings on the side are for Hella LED side markers.

Jack,

When they sold it to you, did they say it would fit the turbo model? Depending on how much you have to "mess around" with it to fit, and how much you like it, will answer your own question. If it's gonna interfere the the intercooler or anything else, I'd try to unload it on a non-turbo.

Man, I like it. That's the look I was looking for when I got my Mirage front fascia for my 01 cruiser.
Fool wit it

Well aside from the gaposis around the headlamps it looks pretty trick. I'd try and help it fit if for no other reason than it's gonna be a fairly rare look here in the states. At least until it folks start importing it. Is it composite like the PTeazer/Xenon kits or fiber? Could prolly fabricate some spacers to push it away from the i/c without it being too big a hassle.

The gaps are just because I couldn't hold it up there and take the pic at the same time. When I trim around the Intercooler it should fit up on there with no gaps.
I dunno if anyone will import these. They've been around for a while.I saw a set on eBay some months ago for some super-high price.
The paperwork that somes with it says it's made of Polyester.Looks like Fiberglass, but it's just a bit flexible.
I could trim around the lip on the opening to give it some clearance in front of the Intercooler.

Im hardpiping all my intercooler pipes next month...maybe I can find a way to get it to give a bit for that to fit...Moving the IC seems to be the best option. I may take it off your hands if you dont want to deal with it..

Ahh, okay. I wasn't sure if it was gapping because it was hitting the i/c or had just shifted down on it's own. I'd say give it a whirl then. Only thing that would give me pause is that it's not going to be as forgiving as the Xenon fascias because of the material. Couldn't pay me to have a fiber based g/e kit now.

I do like it though, smoothes out the bumper profile a bit and it's gotta be less restrictive than the factory intake grille.

Bad pic, but this is the defunct ptcruisin fascia. It had a large horizontal opening in the bumper.

I like it![] It matches the PT's lines better than most aftermarkets but smoothes out the front end. IMHO the only downside is you're changing a special DSC car. Just save all original pieces.
You can fill extra light holes you don't want. Check to see what bonds to that type of material.

I like the look - and there's possibilities with the extra turn signals - look big enough that you could make inner half driving (not fog) lamps and still have extra turn signals. Only downside I see is absence of openings for cooling to brakes.[|)]
