Default GT Aluminum Intake Manifold

It will work on the N/A

They will interchange. The primary runner is shorter and the T/B angle is different so the only problem with that may be the air cleaner hose? But it will work and all the electrical mount up accordingly. I would tell your buyer go for it!!!!!!

Question: The GT went from the cast manifold to the composite (plastic) manifold because there was heat soak with the cast. I think it gained something like 5-10hp by doing so, SO, why would anyone want to go from the plastic non-turbo manifold to the cast manifold on the N/A ?

...unless of course, they wanted their N/A to look like the turbo becuase of the TURBO lettering.

Personally I will be changing the thermal plastic intake and installing an aluminum intake. maybe cause it sounds "Kooler"?

I have a buddy in Virginia who would be interested in your plastic one. Let me know if you go ahead with he change.

Yeah, but I 'm pretty sure you will first modify the intake before install, and aluminum is easier to mod

I heard they made the change to plastic because it is cheaper, period.

When the turbos first came out in the '03 model year, one of the early PT "gurus" tested the aluminum intake and it flowed better than the N/A intake, and he put one on an N/A motor and saw an improvement.

Later, in '05, they replaced the aluminum GT manifold with a plastic manifold that flowed better than the aluminum GT manifold.
