Exclamation Few springs/shocks/struts

I have a set of eibachs that I ran for about six months the switched them out, was running kyb shocks/struts as well. Had a great ride to it.

Went with the goldline springs and tokicos currently

Open to offers

Also have the stock gt springs as well as stock touring model springs.

I wish someone had a pair of used strut assemblies laying around and sell for CHEAP.
I bought a BN pair of Monroe Quick struts and installed them in my '05 PT but they're defective. Both leaking.
Store won't exchange them until I return them and if removed I don't have anything to drop into this car until the exchange is complete (store has to ship back).

If you are sure that they will exchange the defective ones, purchase the new ones and tell them you will bring the defective in and get a full refund. If they will not do it find another retailer. From your information it sounds like the store is not a direct dealer of MONROE. They are shipping them back to there warehouse supplier to exchange. They are just afraid to get stuck with them. Monroe allows direct retailers to be there judge of defective parts up to a point. As a past retailer for them I have not ever seen MONROE not exchange as long as they were not damaged. You may even contact MONROE and they may give you a number to take to any MONROE dealer to have them exchanged.

Lightbulb Re: Few springs/shocks/struts

When my Monroe shocks I had on my Tacoma, were worn out(w/Lifetime Warranty!).....I still had the receipt from Pep Boys,of course,so I just asked: "If I buy the new ones, and then bring the old ones back.is that OK?"....Without hesitating the parts clerk said: "Sure, only we'll have charge you for them, and then we'll refund your money when you 'do' bring the old ones back."
The BONUS was this: They quit selling the 'Basic/Economy' Monroe shock,so they gave me the more expensive 'upgraded' ones @ N/C!
