Not sure if either of these sites will be helpful...
Headlights - Free Shipping @ Speedway Motors
or
Headwinds: STREET ROD

Just curious, is this for a PT? If I knew how I'd have closed the headlight holes and mounted old time lights years ago.

Good luck!

Just saw your other post - they are for your PT. Keep us posted.

The style of the PT would allow a fender mounted light but rather than fully exposed I would recommend, as I am working on for fun, sunken, not literally but visually, into the fender similar to 1940 Chevrolet cars or 1941-47 Chevrolet pickups. Let me try to describe it in words.
Picture the PT fender with a smooth face and no headlamp cutout. Take a single bullet headlamp and align it centered in the fender between the hood side and edge of the fender. This lamp can be cut to fit the fender contour and mount on the fender OR an appropriately sized hole cut in the fender so the bullet light is recessed into the fender. Of course necessary mounting brackets must be fabricated to mount the lamps under the fender.

Couldn't go to deep because of tire clearance.

Some of the cleanest configurations for the round 'retro' headlights on our PTs were the styles from PT Bob at CALIFORNIA CRUISERS.

A good friends (Gary Folsum) custom PT.

PT Bob and his CALIFORNIA CRUISERS business is long gone and no company at this time that I am aware of, produces anything that will accept the round lights with no further mods to make them function properly. You can, as was said above, buy the free-standing type and then do your own install.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing someone venture into this area of mods again. It's been awhile since anyone went out-of-the-box on one of our PTs.

Default looking for white headlights.

Not trying to get HIDs I think they look funny with out projectors. Just trying to find some nice bright white bulbs with that blue tint. I can't find any halogens that are over 5000k. Anyone got any suggestions?
