Default Trade plastic intake for your aluminum

Just like the title says, I'm looking to trade my plastic intake for your aluminum. Intake comes with cover. I'll pay shipping your way, you pay shipping my way. Let me know if interested.

If no one else comes forward before the middle of next week, I may be able to do that deal. I'd like to have a good spare plastic intake and cover and I know where an aluminum intake is that I can likely get cheap. I figure sooner or later I'll end up with a pre-2005 turbo and I'll want the plastic intake.

Without rekindling the never ending plastic vs. aluminum intake debate, why do you want to switch?

Haha... no, I won't be baited into that debate either. The plastic intake is from my parts car, and I have some projects in mind for an aluminum. Plus I honestly prefer the look. I've been staring at high rise aluminum intakes my whole life... it just seems natural.

Cool.

The one I know where is at a salvage yard near my work. When and if I get a chance to brake away and go over there next week, I'll shoot you a PM to see if you still need one. No promises. But I'd just hate to know that intake got crushed and didn't make it to a good home.

I'm not interested in a trade, but I also know where there's an aluminum one that I can probably get for around $50 if Handy's is gone. I'd be happy to grab it and send it to you if you'll pay for it and shipping.

I'll do that deal. I ended up by selling mine and I instantly regretted it. Lol if it's okay to Handy then I would like to take you up on it.

Okay with me. I'm sure I'll come across one as the newer turbo PT's age more and start showing up in the salvage yards.

Did you ever sell that orange intake?

Cool thanks Todd.

Yup I sold it. Someone in NY state is the proud owner now. It was nice, but I really like the look of the plastic one with the vanity cover.
