This was owned by Chris, a fellow friend/owner just a couple miles from my house.

This belongs still today to SAKI from over at the crew!

Congrats! This should be a REALLY cool addition to your cruiser.

Yeah, I think these hoods really give the PT a more aggressive look. A while back, I came to the conclusion that things that would have most visual impact on my PT were going to be a rear spoiler and a cowl hood. And this hood is one of the most attractive ones I've come across. Once painted, this is going to look great!

I'm planning a road trip with my sweetie. I wanted to drive the new Charger and put this hood in the trunk. But I found out that a PT hood is almost as wide as the entire rear section of a Charger. So it looks like we will take my Dodge Quadcab instead. Or we could just drive my PT, bolt on the new hood on site, and then throw the old hood in the trash somewhere.

What kind of paint you going to use on the hood? Or type would be more correct. Your right about the look of this hood. It's my pick as well. I'm considering making a custom steel scoop for the dream. Be safe on your trip.

OEM bright silver. Might do the raised center portion in Chrysler dark metallic silver. Then clear coat the whole thing. As far as the type, I will likely use what the paint place recommends since I haven't done this kind of work since the 1980's.
