Default 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Sell or Trade

Okay guys, here we go. The 03 PT GT is going up for sale this coming Friday on craigslist. I no longer need it, so hope someone here would like to give it a good home and paint it! It's got a little over 145,000 miles on it and the timing belt was changed around 97,000 miles. Turbo, of course and EVERYTHING works on it. Frosty cold a/c. The body is in good shape, just has the sunburn peel on the left quarter and part of the tail gate. Paint is faded on the roof. Missing the front part of the fender liners on both sides and a couple of covers under the engine. I'll even toss in a few extra parts that I have, one of which is a very good turbo intake hose. I'm asking $1,400 or best offer or even trade it for an economy car, as long as it's automatic and a/c working. I've put a rack and pinion under this car, new brakes, new tires and new lower control arms. It's had a recent oil change with Castrol Full Synthetic and a Fram Tough Guard filter. PM me if you're seriously interested. If I can't sell it or trade it in the next month, I'll probably just keep it and try to save up and get a nice paint job put on it and then put it up for sale again at an inflated price. LOL Anyway, I really don't need 3 vehicles right now and have already cancelled the insurance on it. The TN title shows "rebuilt vehicle. Anti-theft inspection passed." All I can say is that it runs and drives just fine and has for the two years I've had it.

almost 3000 posts, are you leaving the community and upgrading to a better car or have you become the 'minivan' dad ?

No, I'll stick around. I need the van to start making some extra money. An older neighbor or mine and his wife have been doing painting and minor repair work at a "resort" type area about 1/2 mile away and are getting where they can't do the physical stuff anymore. Joe's willing to let me start doing some of the stuff he can't do and sometimes it involves hauling sheets of plywood or drywall to a location. These people pay cash, so I can have pocket money. The van I purchased gets better mpg than the PT, so it's a no brainer. I'll miss driving the GT, but it's not making me any money and I need a new a/c unit for my house. The old one is killing me on electric bills.
