Priority mail is 13.60. How about splitting the difference and you pay $56.If it was 1/2shorter I could have got it in a box for $7.15.

If Handy doesn't take it, then I will.

Also, just as an aside, all SRT4s are manual transmissions. So I am curious about your SRT ecm in your automatic PT. Maybe you mean you are using a GT ecm in your turbo lite?

I'm out. Sell it to Myckee.

It's temping to me for a future project. But that one is likely a year or more down the line. There's several other projects more pending right now.

Re where I got the SRT ECU, it was seven years ago and I had just bought my car and read all the posts, and I am sure I asked for the Neon SR4 (or8 I thought) Anyway I paid $300 then got it flashed someplace in PA. Sold it yesterday for $3500, and less than an hour later my Genesis broke down!
I also bought the aluminum pipes to the turbo and modified the airbox etc and it went like a scalded cat. Unfortunately my wife passed away this year and I couldn't justify two cars.

I'm very sorry for you loss. And my heart goes out to you.

I thought the same as Myckee but I figure I'd let him ask the question because he's the most knowledgeable member we have on PCM's. You see, all PT "turbo lites" have the automatic 41TE transmission. Except in the 2001/2002 PT's which none of which were turbocharged, these transmission are controlled directly by the PCM. And since all SRT4 Neon's have manual transmissions, there should be no auto transmission programming in the SRT4 PCM's. For this reason, any PT turbo lite with an unmodified SRT4 PCM should not, in theory, be able to shift.

If your PT ran and shifted with no issues, then I figure your SRT4 PCM programming was either modified for an automatic transmission, or it was actually PCM programming for a PT GT with auto tranny. Other than the transmission issue, the engines and PCM programming for the PT GT and SRT4 Neon are almost the same. And if one of these two things is not the case, then there's just likely some additional stuff we don't yet know.

Either way, It's sad you will not have a PT any more. But you are welcome to stick around and join in on the fun on this forum.

Hey Stu sorry for your loss.

I just read all of your old posts. All those years ago you bought a Stage 1 ecu, not an SRT ecu. You probably got confused because the SRT4 also had a similar Stage 1. It was a good choice and that's why it ran so well.

Anyway I am a buyer for your old one. Let me know.

Thanks Stu. I generally only deal with paypal, for the convenience, but I guess I could get a money order from the post office. I will try to give you a call today sometime. Thanks.
