We always miss our PT ROYALTY when they've been gone for awhile.

Are you looking for an install kit like the one that "PTEAZER" offers. You can find it by clicking on the link that is pictured on the title to our "EXTERIOR" section here on our forum. "PTEAZER" is one of our forum sponsors.

If you're looking for a finished, rolling PT, there used to be one or another that would show up for sale on line on Craigs list, etc. Unfortunantly, I haven't seen any PT panels for sale for a long time now.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SEARCH!

Jerry
Thanks Guys!
I still hang out with two PT Cruiser guys.
One is a long story, buying my first build, the SOONERCRUISER. Then selling, going to an SSR; then buying the SOONERCRUISER BACK!
The other guy owns 3 PTs now!
Both are part of the MOPAR Club; Central Oklahoma MOPAR Association.
I am Secretary, Webmeister, and this year's Show Co-Chairman.

I'm still pretty heavy into full size MOPARs now.
But, I miss my PTs. Especially the Cowboy Cruiser, my last!
When the buyer called me for advice 2 weeks ago, my heart jumped, wishing I could buy it back!
Buy, alas, she just wanted maintenance advice,

If I get bored in a year or so, and the parts are still available, I might build a panel to run around in, in my old age.
10 more years, and I'll kill myself in this SRT8!

Take notice of the taillights on the above custom PT. Does it remind you of a PROWLER taillight like was mentioned in another thread earlier on this site.

Jerry
Thanks for the pictures Jerry.
BUT...you are just teasing me!

Actually, I do not like the ones that still show the oputline of the rear windows.
I'm assuming that getting rid of that outline with any of the available kits is a big welding job for someone!

Frank

Check these two out!

During the PT CRUISERS hey-day, There were several companies that offered PT panel conversion kits. Most were metal and had to have body shop skills to install. Others were fiberglass, but still body shop skills were needed.

Drove a used PT back from CA this week!
Gonna be a project for a year or so.
It WON'T BE A SHOW CAR.

It was a PT customized by Ray at PTeaser.
It's a solid 2003 GT, with Pteaser bumperette and Roadstar grille already on the front.
Destroyer gray, over black.

But, just my day-drive PT Panel.
Pictures soon.

Cool Re: WTB: Pt Panel Conversion

Well, After loosing the top 3 on my wish list, I stumbled across this soon to be panel Cruiser on Craigslist north of LA.

This one of Ray Newton's (PTeaser) early creations, and I am the 3rd owner.
I got a great deal on a solidly maintained PT; AND....
The front end already has two of the mods I would have paid extra for the parts to start the panel conversion.

I will post up the "in progress" pictures in the "Exterior Mods" Forum when work starts!

Are my eyes deceiving me or do you have a SMOOTHIE front fascia, not a bumperette?

YOURS

BUMPERETTE FASCIA

SMOOTHIE
