Question for the posters here....

Is the Homelink in the visor autonomous, in that it only needs is the 12V power line?
(as in, not a wire linked to the PCM)

That's correct. Its just a universal remote control. Give it power and it works.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it will just attach to the regular harness for the vanity light, If you didn't have the light I'm not sure the wiring would be there.

That is also correct. But you could just supply a 12v wire and it would work.

Got myself a Homelink Module on eBay. I will install in the visor after she comes back from the body shop.
