Since Stage 2 is looking close... Any Stage 1's?

Anyone going to upgrade to a stage 2 and want to sell the stage 1 from their ride? I am going to be doing the upgrade either through tthrift, or if I can get a good deal from someone on a gently used (um yeah) stage 1, that would be great. I have a 2004 Pt Turbo lite, automatic. Will I be better off just giving tthrift my vin and ordering new?

Until Mopar has an official release date I wouldn't hold my breath. I am still kicking myself for waiting to get Stage 1. For me the extra power from Stage 1 was worth it. Even more so for you because you have the turbo lite.

as far as i know the stage 1 PCM Can not be changed from one car to another it has the VIN encoded in to the PCM and will not work if the VIN doesn't match the car it is installed in

Yes they can, do a search, I posted a link to the SRT sight that gave instructions for the dealer, MOST are not smart enough to figure it out, so take it with you. The big problem is the car won't run untill reprogrammed, some of the SRT guys are doing the install in the dealer lot and haveing the guy come out and flash the PCM. Don't try this at home, it could p---off your dealer.

I justinstalled reflashed Stage 1 pcm for my '03 auto, that I bought from another member. Works fine.
