Default empire wheels

Have a set of 17" empire wheels with 4 pirrelli tires mounted tires have generous thread left on them. These were on route 66 street cruiser when we purchased it one of the wheels has the chrome flaking on the inside bead of rim and slowly leaks down. Took them off to so as to clean the bead, car got totaled before getting around to cleaning.

Will sell with or without tires. These wheels are located in NC about 5 minutes off I-40 midway between Winston-Salem and Statesville, not practical to ship so would need to be picked up.

Open to offers.

PM any offers most reasonable offer gets them

Not looking to get rich off them but not giving them away either. I have another PT to put them on if they don't sell.

Wayne

If someone local wants pictures that's not a problem but I seriously doubt you or anyone any distance away is going to pay 100+ for shipping on top of decent price for the wheels, hence the local purchase only more then likely statement.

It is your sale so it is up to you if you want to post pictures or not. However many people are willing to drive, sometimes great distances, to buy the item they want. So just because you are not keen to ship them, that doesn't mean there isn't someone out there who is not local that may be willing to drive to buy them.

I have driven crazy distances to buy all sorts of stuff and I know others on the forum have travelled quite far to buy their items too. Just food for thought.

Good luck with your sale!

Since people are more interested is posting criticism then making an offer contingent on what they look like once they see pics just consider that the wheels are no longer for sale.

I'll just keep them.

Ditto what Myckee said. I drove 1,000 miles once to buy a Dakota, only to find out that it was grossly misrepresented by the car lot. They offered me my choice of a Nissan pickup or Ranger for the same price and after checking them both out, took the Nissan home. I later sold it for more than double what I paid for it. All in all, not a bad deal.

Been out of town away from computer so just seen your post. The emblems are sold and already announced the wheels are no longer for sale.

As to your smart a$$ post you can go F yourself far as I'm concerned and if the powers to be that moderate this site feel the need to ban me for my response to you post that's fine also.
