Hey its Ebay, gotta pay for ad, shipping & paypal fees. Shipping via UPS can run $6 or more depending on where it is sent. US post office is even more.
You don't have to bid on it.

I do alot of UPS shipping and for a package of 1 - 2 lbs the cost is a low of $4.50 to a high of $5.50
Thats just shipping, after adding in the a cost of box and various fees as mention, $8.50 isn't too bad. Some times with a low cost item the shipping can end up being more

I just received a 2 lb package from a customer that cost me $11.25 !! Now thats a rip off.

Thx for the input Bigdog. If item sells for $1 & shipping runs high depending where it is sent, by the time I pay for all the fees I might as well just send the buyer a check with the item.
