Although $22,500 may be much less than what you payed for the car 9 months ago, with the current incentives you can get a brand new GT for about that much. You may have to lower the price if you want to sell it.
Good luck on you sale.

After Christmas you're gonna find 04 GT's for less than 20K. I doubt if anyone will pay more than 18K for yours. Good luck, I hope you find a buyer.

FYI

In March 2004 we bought our PT Cruiser GT with 4,500 miles on it at CarMax for $17,000. Stock, no sun roof, no leather, no mods at all.

When I bought it I noticed that the hood support rod was bent and the rear cargo cover/shelf was missing, and CarMax ordered the replacements. 2 days after the purchase, a friend closed the hood without removing the rod. The rod pushed up in to the hood and dented it. Carmax repaired the hood at no charge to me.

That was great of Carmax to repair the hood damage. Most would not have. Hope you have installed Blaines' hood struts and removed that stupid rod so it won't happen again.

Yes, I did install Blaine's hood struts. It's the only modification I've done.

I was very pleased with CarMax. They didn't have to order the cargo shelf either. I requested it after we closed the deal.
