Used Engine & Auto Transmission

I live in Africa, and I'm looking for a replacement engine & transmission for my 2001 Cruiser.

Phil,

It sure wouldn't be worth your while to look anyplace except your local area. Shipping would cost more than the engine/trans itself. Auto salvage yards or rebuilt engine shops will probably be your best bet to either find one or get information on where to fine what your looking for. Good Luck

My sources wouldn't do you a lot of good Phil, they'd be 4,000 miles away here in Florida.

Your sources would be just fine, as I must import what I require anyway - cost is really not the issue right now.

OK. There's a place right down the road from me called LQK Auto Salvage. I've been buying the parts off an 2003 Dream Cruiser to send to a friend of mine in England. I can't say for certain if they still have the engine or transmission or if they send parts overseas themselves but here's the link.
