Default Under seat drawer

Newbie here.... Just picked up my first Cruiser. A 2007 Touring model with the Walter P badges... 2.4 non turbo automatic... 21,000 mile Chrysler certified used vehicle... Love it! My Aunt has a couple of cruisers including a 2002 Dream cruiser and in the little bit of time I have spent around hers I have noticed how the PT has lost some content over the years. Just little things here and there... the biggest thing I noticed was the quality of the interior is lacking in the 2006 redesign. the dealer kept insisting that the Walter P edition had all the bells and whistles but it doesnt... No heated seats or mirrors -no traction control... cloth seats. I do not mind not having those items really... just found his remarks a bit off.... I would like to add the under seat drawer.. nice place to keep girl friends purse or a CD case or Ipod... Any suggestions on where to get one? Local junkyards have no PT's. Also looking for a rear bumper scuff pad and the chrome door spears... thanks and I look forward to meeting many new friends here!!
John

Hello and Welcome your Majesty

Ebay is a good stop for all those things. I love to shop with Maggie (she's also on ebay) she has the best prices and best of all her shipping is with in reason and sometimes free or for a penny! at:

Chrysler PT Cruiser Parts and Accessories by Race and Street

there is also Cruiser Motor Sport, he sometimes can be a lot higher on price than Maggie and his shipping on the smalls is outrageous! in MHO

Cruiser Motor Sports

there is also:
ptboutique.com and ptwarehouse.com

again, welcome (I'm in SoCal) and have fun shopping!

Yeah... the Walter P. Chrysler edition has badges on the sides just below the PT Cruiser text... Not sure what it adds other than the emblems and chrome wheels... Dealer states it gives you all the bells and whistles... I think he was full of it. the car does not have every option but it has what I want and could not live without...

Here in Florida, we also have the PT Cruiser Ron Jon special Edition. Ron Jon is a world famous surf shop. Not sure what else you get except the badging on the rear and sides. So it looks like there's all kinds of Special Editions running around.

This is from a post back in 2004 ....

Ron Jon Surf Shop and Chrysler have just made getting to the beach as much fun as being there. The surf icon and auto giant have teamed to create a customized, special edition Ron Jon PT Cruiser styled toward surfing aficionados and active lifestylers.

Chrysler produced only 1,000 of the Ron Jon special-edition cruiser. The car's customized design features include fog lights, special chrome wheels, a chrome exhaust tail pipe, a rear roof spoiler and a ground-effects package. Each car bears a Ron Jon Special Edition logo and exterior decal art. The Ron Jon PT Cruiser will be available at Chrysler dealerships throughout Florida.

Ron Jon Surf Shop will give away special merchandise packages with every car purchase. Must-have items to go with the Ron Jon PT Cruiser include a sports bag, a driving blanket, a license plate, an authentication certificate, a bumper sticker, a fleece pull-over, a key chain and a Ron Jon Surf Shop discount card in a leather carrying case, as well as a special-edition T-shirt.
