Thanks!

Turbo or NA?? I have a K&N Typhoon, but I believe it only fits turbo. Brand new, all stainless. Would have to wait until I return home in three weeks though.

I've got a K&N FIPK intake that I'd actually like to part with. Few problems though;
1. It's currently installed so, I'd need a stock airbox before I take mine off. Gave mine away with K&N drop in filter.
2. The filter isn't in perfect shape as it should be (long story) but still perfectly functional.

The whole setup was new when I purchased it just 6 months ago, still got the original receipt and box.

Anyway, let me know if you're interested. And here are pics of it installed, taken apart and of the filter itself.

FIPK? Friggin Ignorant Parts Krap? Flaming Imbecile Pakistani Kaliph?

Wait, forever inferior performance kinematics, yeah, that's it.....

Forced Induction Performance Killer, that's what it is on a turbo engine......

Sorry, forgot to mention the engine is a high output turbo. Chromenut, if the one you have is for a turbo as you mentioned, I'm interested and let me know. Kawizx9r, thanks for the reply as well, but I want to keep my original airbox as well in case I ever want to change it back and don't like the modification.

I do, I have the K&N 69 Series Typhoon in all stainless. I'd let it go for $100 plus shipping, even though thats like 70% less than what I paid for it, but it's just collecting dust in my storage unit. The cone filter itself looks brand new, I'll clean it and recharge it and bag it in plastic before sending, if you are wanting it. I'll be back in NC in two weeks, will pull it out and take photos. It's still in the original box and all. Will have to weigh it to get shipping estimate, doesn't weigh all that much though. Install is all of maybe 20 minutes counting removing the old air box. Retail on this right now is $214.95, which is $30 less than what it was when I bought mine. You can see this at Summit Racing.

This is what she looks like:

No modifications necessary, fits right on the turbo inlet, nice connecting hose, then your vacuum lines plug right into the existing tips on the intake pipe. Very little work involved. I started going away from all the chrome look on my engine when I repainted it, so pulled it and put the old box in place after painting it. Hasn't been used since.

Well, it's better than the Typhoon you're offering.

Metal retains heat much more than plastic, and mine offers a heatshield that comes into contact with the lining underneath the hood.

Sure it doesn't compare to modified airbox+K&N drop-in and upgraded TTAB pipe but it's better than the Typhoon.

Just sayin...
