Cool Re: looking for chrome spears

Saw some on e-Bay yesterday.
Someone let me know if they ever see the ones with the PT logo on them!

I'm waiting for some hot weather, and I'll let you know how to remove them.

Someone said something about using dental floss. I figured spider wire fishing line would work fine. Almost cut my hand trying to brake off while fishing.

Thanks for the heads up!

I've used dental floss on the chrome taillight and headlight covers and the door posts - it works, but fishing line might be stronger - the floss tends to break after you saw on the piece a while.

It was probably you that I was thinking of. Anyway spider wire line is like a thread only much stronger. Figured it would be hard to break. Thought that was a pretty good idea you had. Just needed a stronger string. Thanks for the tip harrym.

I got the tip from this forum - I think it was Chromenut - so give him the credit! It does work, though. I'll be taking myu door spears off and redoing them as soon as it gets warm - they are gapping at the front. Also, one of my door posts needs to be redone.
