Angry 2006 cooling fan wiring harness

My 06 had a major cooling system replacement.

Mechanic FAILED to connect the fan harness to the cooling relays; it manged to 'get loose' and mangle itself into oblivion dragging in the road ;-(

ALL The fan assemblies I see at MY local yards are stripped; Most are 2001 and 2002; devoid of relays anyway

I need the Y part that goes around the bottom and connects to the two relays on top of the fan assembly

A NEW fan will set me back another $80-$100 and I find that RIDICULOUS for just a 24" section of wires and an end connector

CAN ANYONE HELP?

I will look the next time I go to the pull a part, but I've not seen a PT newer than 03 there yet. Probably go one day next week.

I have the original radiator fan I took off the 2007 PT Cruiser. The only thing is that I had to cut the 4 pin plug off of that one. Other than that the wire harness is fine if you are interested in it. All you need to do is pay the postage.

I don't know if I could secure the right end connection...
The fan was replaced MONTHS ago and appeared to run fine; I don't know why I didn't look at the relay assembly for some time until it started to act up
WHY it didn't act up prior to this is a mystery

what do U need for postage to send this?

MY Post Office has these flat rate Priority Mail bags and boxes that will ship for like $6.25 or so $ dependent on size of FREE packaging...
TELL ME HOW YOU want to get paid or a TRUST deal I send U The cash
My PAYPAL is screwed up right now so not a viable deal

There is a HARRY'S U PULL IT located in my neck of the woods; two in fat one in Hazleton and one in Allentown; THEY have Cruisers but its a crap shoot if harnesses and fans are still there. Considering the assembly is physically attached to the fan who knows UNLESS it is a front end smash...

Check with NAPA for the harness that you need. Recently the fan was replaced on my PT. But a couple of weeks later it wasn't running properly. Took it back to the shop that did the work and they discovered a bad connector on the piece of harness that you need. I think they got the replacement harness from NAPA, so check with them. I think they said it was around a $30 part, but they didn't charge me because they had just replaced the fan assembly. It plugs into the relays and then back somewhere to plug into the main harness.

I looked at NAPA's web site; MANY harnesses none look like what I need
you still have a p[art number by any chance?

Joe

Here is the part numbers off the original radiator fan on my 2007 PT Cruiser.

Bosch Assy CES F00HX0G023
Part 6 004 HG0 041-10
ASSY OEM 6 004 HAO 000

I am being to wonder if you are better off buying a new radiator fan. The labor cost of repairing an wire harness and a new 4 pin connector might be high.

If I were you and I was going to keep the PT Cruiser for a while I would just buy a new radiator fan and keep the original fan with no harness for a spare. When the new radiator fan goes bad then you can take the harness off of that one and put it on the original fan.

The 4 pin connector from the Ebay link above has a metal attachment on it that I don't have on mine. You might want to make sure yours has it.
