Default Desperate need of a thermostat housing

I am looking for a lower (metal) thermostat housing. I stripped one of the bolt holes. I need it by the weekend and will pay for expedited shipping if reasonably priced, Thanks

Are non turbo lowers the same? I'll see if i can get mine off with no real tools, if so you can have it free. Anyone else feel free to offer one up in the meantime

The non-turbo is the same, but the temp sensor screws in on the side of the Turbo ones, and in the front on the non-turbo. Since the powersteering reservoir is directly in front, to use a non-turbo one in your turbo car, you would have to plug the front temp sensor hole, and then drill and tap the side indent for the temp sensor.

I have a turbo one here. I am in Ontario, Canada. If you really need it by the weekend, I can probably get a quote for overnight FedEx shipping to you, but I doubt it will be cheap.

If you live close to a junkyard, these are the same parts used on all PT cruisers and all Dodge Neons(only the temp sensor location differs as described above) so they are very plentiful and cheap. This is probably your best option.

Will this one work, or does something physically prevent it?

Just removed it and cleaned it up:

Depending on which hole is stripped, You could put a nut on the bottom side if there is room, or maybe drill a little deeper and use a longer bolt after re-threading the hole using a bottom tap.
The steel bolts used in the aluminum head may break if your not careful removing then causing more problems..

Thank you but it wont work because of the PS pump in the way. I appreciate everyone for trying to help. I was trying to avoid the upullit yard due to time constraints but it may be the only option.
