Default Headlight Maintenance

I just recently replaced both headlight assemblys. The old ones we so bad fogy nothing could clean em up I think my using wrong product on them might have done it. Any suggestions on what works for maintaining the plastic lens. That won't yellow or haze them. We have real strong UV rays here. All help appericated.[:I]

Quite a while back I was watching one of the weekend auto shows on TV.

They were detailing a red PT.

Before they finished they talked about the headlight and to use Mothers plastic polish.

I started doing that every time I wax the car and they still look like new.

Lot of sun and UV here too, 108 today.

Agree. My son has a '98 car with similar plastic headlight covers that had were foggy - I used a clay bar, and with LOTS of rubbing they improved, but tried the Mother's plastic stuff and it improved a lot more and was much easier. [?]
