Default My worst detail (nightmare)

This 72 Corvette was a nightmare. First thing that happened was I wanted to buff under the luggage carrier so I removed it. Came off no problem, but when I went to install the son of a *&^%#@^ the set screws fell inside the black hole of the body. Had to go to a hardware store and luckily found something that would work, then it was next to impossible to line ALL the screws up at the same time. after 3 hours I got it back on. then I got 2nd degree burns from the headers while moving the car. could not wait to get it out of there. The other car is a Aston Martin BD7 James Bonds original car. Gary

Beautiful car that Vette (Auston too). Gary, you found the one thing that a lot of owners of side pipe cars have to talk about. The "scars" from the pipes. They look good, but that cover over the pipe doesn't do a heck a lot for protecting skin.

While it is true that the most famous James Bond Aston Martin is the DB5 he used in "Goldfinger", James Bond used a Vanquish V12 coupe in "Die Another Day".

Those side pipes do look dangerous to the legs. Cars look great though.
Who besides me had the Corgi Aston Martin? I wish I would not have destroyed them when I was a kid.

Actually Gary the DB7 came in the Vantage (probably the model you detailed) and the Vanquish (the James Bond model from Live and Let Die). However, both were DB7's.
