Default Boyd Smoothies....ARGH!

Gang,

These Boyd Coddington wheels are impossible to keep clean.

What am I supposed to use on these things?

What is geting them dirty?? Mud?? Brake Dust?? Mine stay real clean for about 2 weeks and wash off like the rest of the car now that I have ceramic pads. No problem. Have you thought about that new electric ball scrubber that Foose advertises??

Arthor, I LOVE THOSE WHEELS!! do you have a turbo?> I heard they are a tough fit on turbo's. I like the recessed look kind of like a deep dish old style mag. as far as cleaning, I have a kick A-- wheel cleaner that will remove all the surface contaminants then you need to put a wax/sealant on them to protect it. Are you using any of my stuff, I added a chrome sealer a few months ago that people are raving about. Gary

I have the Boyd Coddington "Smoothies " also. I use a power ball and Mother's Billet Metal Polish. The first time took a little effort, but I wanted them shinier than the way they came[8D], now it doesn't take long at all. I do them about every third month really well, just wash 'em with carwash soap the rest of the time[?].

Gary,

Of course it's a turbo! They are a tough fit, but with a little work, they look great (when clean).

As far as your products, I have the ultimate tire and wheel cleaner, the chrome cleaner/sealer, and the poly seal stuff.

Can I use this stuff on this type of wheel?

Thanks!
