Default Cleaning your carpets

Gary what's the best stuff to use for cleaning your carpets? That foot rest area for your left foot is filthy and my new mats don't cover it. I use to use something from Turtle wax that you would foam on and then it would dry and it would get vaccuumed up but I can't find it anymore.[xx(]

You can buy "Resolve" spray foam type carpet cleaner at home centers and grocery stores everywhere

I have my wife clean the mats, we have a hoover carpet cleaner (two big dogs!). The hoover also has a hand attachment that I use to clean the other carpeting in the Cruiser. Works great/

I agree with 2step Resolve works on mats nicely. Haven't had to use it on the carpet, but I would think it would.

I use spot shot on my carpet, and it works really well. Had a Dr. Pepper explode onto the headliner, sprayed the Spot Shot on and with a little blotting it disappeared.

I use Simple Green and a shop rag to remove spots and this works great. I use a Bissel Little Green Machine to clean large areas.

Gonz, everyone that posted has some good advice. Just remember not to saturate your carpet with chemicals unless you own an extractor. Shop vacs will not remove chemicals deep down in the fibers. if you let them lay, mold, mildew and bacteria will go. Use as little as possible when using a shop vac, just mist the carpets. simple green is fine. Take an old rag and rub the carpet afterwards to create friction to promote drying. TIP; for the holiday if you rent one of those steam cleaners, get the stair attachment, NOW YOU HAVE AN EXTRACTOR, GO TO TOWN ON YOUR CAR. [?]
