Default Painted Rear View Mirrors...?

I was considering having the mirrors of my cruiser painted the car color... I will be up in sacramento for the holidays... And we were thinking of pappys custom cruisers... My aunt had hers done there... I was wondeing if anyone had an idea of what the cost might be? Thanks

I don't know what pappy's charges but I had the mirrors on my dream cruiser painted for $100. I had been rearended and it was in the body shop getting repaired so they did it then.

I've read in the forums any where from $75 to $150. Main thing is that it is done right. Looks is everything.

BDD was right-on when he said "...Main thing is that it is done right. Looks is everything." [|)]

Some of the metallic colors like Inferno Red and Seamist Green are difficult to match perfectly so be sure you find a good "paint guy" to do the work. I had both my side mirrors done--removed, sanded, primed, painted, clear-coated, and put back on my car for $190. However, one "high-end" paint/body shop gave me an informal quote of $600 [:0] to do the job. [V]

I was pleased with the final result.

You got one of the good ones Jimbo, I'm jealous! As far as what Gary04GT said that could save you some money, depending, is take the mirrors off yourself, have your painter paint, bring home and put them back on. A penny saved is a penny saved and sometimes the pennies get pretty big!

I removed my mirrors & pillars, dropped them at the body shop to have them prepped, primed, painted silver & clear coated. Only charged me $100, one of my favorite mods.

I thought it was a great price too, considering the owner did it himself. He said he liked quick easy jobs like that, I'm sure he will make up for it when I get my hood & front dents & chips repaired.
