I tried to use mopar touch up paint on my pt cruiser I just bought and the texture was too goopy, so I gently tried to remove it before it dried. It wouldn't come off and now it looks smeared. What can I do to remove the touch up paint without damaging the original paint? Help!!! Also, any suggestions on removing rust from a pinhole sized ding, before applying touch up paint? Thanks! |

Sometimes you need to use Laquer thinner to thin the paint, that will also remove your excess you applied.
