Gary,

Have you ever heard of a spray-on paint protection bra???

Griot's is just down the street from me in Tacoma WA. About two weeks ago I went over there with a mustang club and had a demo/class on detailing. They had the stuff there and it was beyond belief. You mask off the area you do not want it on and then spray away. The stuff hardens up smooth. When you are through you just peel it off. Of course they talked about even coverage that was thick enough to allow the individual droplets to stick together and about NOT leaving it on forever. They talked about using it cor cars that were being towed or trailered and folks on a cross country trip. Pretty neat stuff, does no damage to the paint. Of course I would make sure it was sealed before and after I used it.

Thanks Chip. I'm about to take a 2,000 mile trip with my Vette and was wondering if this stuff might help. Just had it completely painted abut a year ago and would like to keep the front as "chip" free as possible. Sorry for the pun. []

Sent for a can of the stuff Bob. Won't be trying it out till the HOT ROD POWER TOUR starts in June. A week traveling with 2000+ hot rods from all over the East coast, starts in Orlando and ends a week later at Englishtown Raceway in New Jersey.

Hey Carey,
What route will you be taking to Englishtown? I-95? I'm only a couple of miles from I-95, just South of the Philly Airport.

John,

The day before Englishtown, we'll be at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA. There's no set route from Harrisburg to Englishtown but don't think we'll be using I-95 very much. I was born and raiised in Phila and still have two sisters living there. Might be stopping in to see them, or at least meeting them somewhere on the way over to N.J.
