Default Solstice detail

This was a labor of love. I plan on getting the turbo model this fall. HP going to 250 form 170, should be plenty. First inspection of the car showed more than usual contaminants. Procedure was as follows: Hand wash with regular car wash soap (two bucket method, one for the suds, other for rinsing) using a micro fiber wash mit. Clayed the car (it needed it bad) wash again. Dried with waffle weave MF towel. Removed two plastic tape pieces on the under side of car using solvent cleaner and some goo gone. Next, using my DAPC and a polishing pad, I aplied my cleaner/polish......since the clay removed the contaminants from "ON" the finish, my cleaner polish brought the depth, shine and reflectivity back "INTO the finish....finished with my sealant to "lock in" the look I was going after. The tires got an application of my Ultimate Dressing, and the chrome wheels had poly seal applied. As always, I only use MF towels to remove polish and sealant from the finish. if you have not stepped up to MF, this, besides claying is one of the most important steps in detailing. Thanks George for the honor, I can't wait to get mine.
