When is the waffle weave towl used as opposed to the micro fiber towel? I did a search but came up with nothing [:I]

isnt the waffle towel used to dry the car off after washing it ?? i could be wrong [:I]

Waffle towels can be made of micro-fiber. I use the one from Griot's Garage and one from the big M company. The big thing I have found is NOT to use a polyester micro -fibre towel. They add swirl marks to the paint.

gonzo, waffle weave is usually used to dry the car off. The traditional microfiber can be used for drying, but is usually used for taking polish and wax off, wiping down the interior, doing a little hand buffing, etc.
