Default Long Day Detailing

This was a treat, but it made for a long day. This is a 1972 280SE 3.5, a rare classic. The paint was original with 44,000 miles, but needed to be clayed really bad. There is a ton of chrome on this car as you can see, to my suprise, no pitting, all in excellant condition. After I clayed, I deep cleaned it to ensure any and all surface blemishes were removed. I opted for a pure polish before laying down the sealant. I used my chrome cleaner/sealer for the exterior chrome, you need sun glasses now to look at it in the direct sunlight. The interior was tough, many fine details, like little chrome strips, real zebra wood, and other intricate areas. The end result was well worth my time, this is where my job satisfaction comes from. Gary
