Default baked on bugs

Whats the best way to remove baked on bugs off the front of the PT. I've washed the car, used rubbing alcohol, best thing was Maguires scratch X and polished the hell out of it, then another coat of wax and buffed and polished again. But there are still bug specks still embedded in the clear coat finish. What's the best way to clean and smooth out the clear coat?

Hey tried a clay bar, worked great, Gary has some good tips on his site. Using detail spray keeps the clay sliding smootly. After a couple of days of polishing and waxing the finish looks sweet, almost like new. Now I need to fill in some of those tiny flying rock scratches.

I've come to love clay-bar. Never even heard of it before PT Forums.
I just want to add that a fellow PTer told me about DuPont Teflon car was - I tried it, and bugs, bird poop, tar, mud, come off much easier. [?]
