You can order just the clay, but you should try my other products, I stand behind everything, and GAR-N-T the results will be great. Gary

Are you planning on something we should know about? I haven't heard of anyone's car going up in flames after they waxed it. If that was true, my Vette has enough coats to put on a really good show.

that's good to know
i'm just doing textile research, and i'm looking into other fields besides textiles for info on ways of polishing fabrics (maybe also stiffening at the same time),
especially using a hands-on approach instead of using heavy-duty industrial machines
one thing they do in the industry is put the fabric under heavy heated rollers which roll over the fabric back and forth, and this creates the shine... also known as calendering
i've recently read about fabrics finished with polyurethane, which is basically varnish, i think; and i'm assuming they use that to create shine for automobiles too

First of all would like to wish everyone "happy holidays".....For several years I used Mothers wax,and was pretty happy with the results. This past summer, I went and bought "ice" by turtle wax.It goes on very easy, and wipes off just as fast. With this product your even able to use in direct sunlight. It leaves a great shine, which lasts for several months.Another product I use is "flitz" metal polish on my 02 chrome rims,it removes that nasty old brake dust.It does take some time to apply, since your basicly hand polishing the rims.I use the micro-fiber cloth to apply and a soft towel to remove. What I really need to find is something I can spray on and hose off,to clean the brake dust, without hurting the finish on the rims.

thanks for the idea......changing to ceramic pads.I think I'll do that.....Ok what did you buy or suggest? Napa auto has several brands, and price ranges. My 02 only has 32k miles, brakes work fine, But I'll change to ceramic, just to stop the hassel of cleaning brake dust.Do you get better stopping, with the ceramic pads vs stock pads? Thanks again Hooligan for the idea.......
