has anyone else had this problem?
I purchased the polysealant from perfect auto finish. 4 weeks ago I washed it with dish detergent to remove any wax/oil residue than rinsed it good. after that I clayed it and washed with water. I dried it and applied the polysealant. af first the hood and roof would bead water but it doesn't anymore....it just sheets. do I still have protection? I only wash my car with water...never any detergents between waxings. |

4speed, welcome to the world of professional detail products. what you have is the latest most advanced protection on your car to date. old technology still beads water, which leads to water spoting. when acid rain falls on a finish that beads, and dries, you can have what is called ecthing, my products are designed to do exactly what you described, the first week or so it will bead, then it will sheet off. sheeting will not promote water spots, hope that helps, and yes you have the best production money can buy. gary
