WD-40 will remove the tree sap without damage to the paint.

Thanks Bobs turbo pt,

I'll keep that in mind. The sap on mine has hardened but the sap on my wifes car is fresh so to speak. Then i'll just have to rewax both cars again.

You could also try Houdini (get from your local locksmith) or Goo Gone (if you have a Black and Decker Outlet or maybe Wal-Mart).

After you get the sap off, I recommend you use Dupont Teflon Car wax - the stuff is great - mud, bugs, bird poop - come off easily.

I highly recommend Wurth's Clean-Solve. It removes, tar, bird sh, stickers, gum, etc., and doesn't ruin your clear coat. Just follow the easy directions. Hell, I even use it on my Vette.

Where do you get the Wurth's Clean-solve Bados. I used wd-40 on my wifes car. I haven't tried anything on mine as the tree sap has hardened
