You can get Pt cruiser oem door pillar trim at PT Cruiser OEM Door Pillar Trim For about $150.00. I have the same problem on my 01 cruiser and I like the black trim.

The first week I had my PT, it was washed with soap and water. That was the first and last time it was ever washed. Then it was cleaned with a clay bar, and then detail spray after that. My PT has never had soap and water put on it since that first wash, almost 5 years now. So, it only gets Zaino detailing sprays once a week, and the black pillars stay looking new. I think the soap and water is what leaves the spots.

I would say try cleaning off the spots with a clay bar, then only use detail spray after that if you can.

Adams makes a product called "VRT", vinyl, rubber, and tire - makes all the rubber & vinyl look freshly molded, and black! I'm now working out of the gallon bottle, when I'm not at shows.
