If the person added photos of his/her ride to the gallery you'll be taken to it. In my case there's three pages of photo's of my PT. You'll also see where I entered a contest that was running on this forum to upload as many photos as you could, so if you click on the photo on the left hand side of the gallery titled "PT Gallery Contest" you'll see the 100 photo's that I entered for the contest.
YOU GOT NOS.
You really did a fine job dressing up your PT! Tell me something? Your PT has more than one set of chrome wheels, do you want to sell a set?
Thanks for sharing the pics!

Van

Anyone have any experience chaging these out? They seem like just simple screw-on/screw off type, but anything I should know?
Where did you find those?

Thanks

Van,

To answer both of the above posts.

The skull door locks like mine or the picture above can usually be found on eBay and if not, there's a number of on-line PT accessory places that carry a variety of different door pins.

No, it's not NOS. It's an 8 1/2 bass subwoofer powered by a 200 watt Clarion Amp that's under the front seat.

The other set of my 16 inch chrome wheels were traded evenly for the 17 inch GT wheels that I have now.

Found 'em at Autozone. They also carry them at Pep Boys.

If the rubber grabs too much, hit the pins with a shot of silicone spray.
Also - I found on both my '02 and '05 I had to use pliers to loosen the original lock pins - once started, I could unscrew the rest by hand.
I just did the same thing as you. I forgot about your post wen I came across some assorted grommets in my tool box and that's when the light came on.
Hey, I've read about this before!
Any way, I had to pull the OEM pin out and it boogered up the plastic vinyl just a tad. A hexagon base fitting through a round hole left 8 little marks on the plastic door panel. The grommet covers it up nicely, looks good and keeps it from rattling. I would rather have a small chrome retainer ring insert instead of the grommet but I'll take it as it is.

Thanks

Van

I have a 2005 Dream Cruiser with a custom wood grain paint job. The theme is "Woody" I have a life size Woody from toy story that travels with us. My door locks just carry the theme a little farther......
